About Sharon

Hi, I'm Sharon Kozuch

Since staring her coaching business in 2013, Sharon Kozuch has been coaching and developing C-suite executives, senior leaders and aspiring leaders. Sharon is also a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice serving clients in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Along with her psychotherapy, private practice, Sharon holds several certifications, including the Hogan Assessment, 360 Assessments, and is completing her Leadership Coaching Certification to round out her knowledge and expertise. She has leadership and training experience in the corporate and non-profit sectors including, Financial Institutions, Higher Education, and Healthcare, over the past 25+ years.

 

Sharon’s approach is intuitive, curious, and engaging, yet interactive with a practical edge supporting individuals and groups who are; motivated to increase self-awareness to develop strategies to move beyond their perceived limitations such as how self-defeating behavioral patterns and percieved limitations get in the way of leaders, teams, and organizations from achieving their goals. Her approach in working with her clients starts with building trust, gaining clarity and focus, while leveraging strengths and core values. She integrates traditional skills including cognitive reframing, awareness of our nervous systems automatic responses, and how it informs our physiological state that drives behavior.


Sharon utilizes assessment tools such as the; Hogan Assessment, 360 Degree Feedback, other leadership coaching tools along with a mind-body approach using mindfulness exercises, stress reduction tools, and specific interventions to provide a robust yet nalanced, integrated Leadership Development Plan

    Sharon serves clients with relationship and work conflict, life transitions, communication issues, anxiety, stress, fear and overwhelm, sleep disruption, depression. Her particular interest in working with motivated individuals and groups at pivotal points in their personal life and career during the transition process. Sharon loves working with clients when “aha moments” unfold and the transformation process ignites understanding and growth from struggles with excellence vs perfectionism, She engages in the transition process by analyzing and assessing the current pain point, deepen insights, challenges belief systems and assumptions to encourage lasting change in a supportive way. 


    Sharon has a passion around lifelong learning to help people reduce the overall effects of chronic stress for brain health and mental wellbeing. As an entrepreneur she has a unique perspective on the dynamic between people, careers, and their lives and the consistent pressure for balance. Sharon has developed and facilitated many trainings and workshops across New England for over 20+ years.  Programs include Destress not Distress, Productivity and Innovation, Performance Evaluations, Workplace Conflict and Safety, Communicating Effectively Under Stress, and Cultivating Mindfulness in the Workplace, Compassion Fatigue, among others. 


    Sharon received her BA in Psychology, and her M.Ed. from Cambridge College, and obtained her license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She holds several certifications including Wellcoaches® Certified Health & Well-being Coach, HeartMath Certified in Stress, Anxiety, and Emotional Regulation and Resilient Heart: Trauma Sensitive, Certified Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga Level 2. Along with Sharon’s corporate experience, she has also launched state-wide crisis intervention programs, and holds a Certification in Critical Incident Stress Management through CISM, Honors Program, University of Maryland. Sharon is a Diplomat Member of the American Institute of Stress and her latest certification is in Mastering Communication Skills for Professionals.
